The Green Graveyard Company Ltd (GGC) was established in 2009 with a view to opening a number of Natural Burial Grounds In Ireland. In October 2010 we opened Ireland's first Natural Burial Ground at Woodbrook, Killanne, Co. Wexford. We are planning to open a number of other NBG's in coming years.GGC was founded by Colin Mc Ateer who is also owns Green Coffins Ireland Ltd, a company which specialises in the supply of environmentally friendly funeral products to funeral directors throughout Ireland. www.greencoffinsireland.com. Colin also helps manage a fourth generation funeral directors business.

Woodbrook Natural Burial Ground (Wexford) is managed by The Green Graveyard Company Ltd in conjunction with Mr. Giles FitzHerbert who resides at Woodbrook House and Mr. Niall Deacon a local farmer.
Niall is also an artist who has made the beautiful granite sculpture's pieces which can be seen on the Chestnut avenue as you approach the Woodbrook NBG. These sculptures are for sale to the public, and are replaced by new pieces of Nialls once they have been sold - a revolving gallery if you like.
